JANESVILLE, Wis. – Nearly 10 months after being suspected of killing two women near Highway 14 in Janesville, Marcus Randle-El will soon return to Wisconsin for legal proceedings.
In late February, Randle-El was charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide, one count of operating a weapon without consent, and a felony for being a felon in possession of a firearm in relation to the murders of two women, 27-year-old Brittany N. McAdory and 30-year-old Seairaha J. Winchester.
The two women were found with gunshot wounds in the 3200 block of Midvale Street on February 10 and later died from at a nearby hospital.
Janesville Police Lt. Charles Aagaard confirmed in an email to News 3 Now that county officials had began drafting extradition plans to bring Randle-El from Illinois, where he was serving time on a previous sentence, to Rock County.
It’s unclear when trial proceedings could begin for Randle-El. Earlier in November, county officials pushed back all jury trials to Mid-January due to the threat of COVID-19.
