MADISON, Wis. — Fifty-six new hospitalizations were reported on Christmas Day in Wisconsin.
Combined data from state and county health dashboards showed an additional 1,475* cases of COVID-19 in the state, which makes Wisconsin’s total count of cases since the start of the pandemic 468,118*.
Three* more people died, which is a total of 4,762 in the state.
56 more people were hospitalized between Thursday and Friday, the Department of Health Services said. A total of 4.4% of people in the state with COVID-19 have required hospitalizations.
DHS said 431,428 people, or 92.2%, in Wisconsin have recovered from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
