Municipalities throughout Dane County have begun to declare snow emergencies in response to a winter storm that’s expected to bring snowfall to southern Wisconsin.
The following municipalities have declared a snow emergency:
Blue Mounds – The village’s snow emergency will go into effect at midnight on Wednesday through 11 p.m. Thursday.
Marshall – Marshall’s snow emergency goes into effect at 8 p.m. Tuesday and runs until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Monona – The city’s snow emergency will be in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 3 p.m. Wednesday. City officials have asked residents to not park vehicles on any streets in Monona during this period.
