MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police issued a warrant Wednesday for a suspect in a September 6 homicide at Martha Lane.
Jeremiah Cain, 18, is charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide. Police say he may still be in the Madison area, but has ties to Chicago.

Cain is accused of shooting a man in the 4600 block of Martha Lane near Cottage Grove Road.
The victim, Nicholas T. Cooke, later died of his injuries.
Police say Cain should be considered armed and dangerous.
