MADISON, Wis. — An American Airlines plane that made an emergency landing over the weekend in Madison has left Dane County Regional Airport.
According to an airport spokesperson, the plan left the airport over the past day, but he was not able to confirm an exact time of departure.
Flight AA3 stopped in Madison on Sunday afternoon after there was smoke in the cabin and cockpit.
Officials said all passengers and crew were safe, and another plane came to take the 190 people on board to Los Angeles. The flight had originated at JFK Airport in New York.
American Airlines has not responded to Channel 3000’s request for comment on the incident.
