TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) – Five semis were a total loss after a large fire at Holland Trucking Company in Tomah Sunday morning. The Tomah Fire Department arrived at 400 Holland St. the Holland Trucking Company parking area for the report of a semi on fire according to the Tomah Fire Department’s Facebook page.
Tomah Fire Chief Tim Adler reported two semi-trucks fully engulfed and several others that were on fire due to the radiant heat. The fire destroyed five semis-trucks and produced heavy damage to a sixth semi.
There were no injuries, however, 19 firefighters helped at the scene for nearly two hours. The scene by the Tomah Police Department, Tomah Area Ambulance Service, Monroe County Emergency Management, and the Monroe County 911 Communication Center all assisted at the fire. The cause of the Fire is under investigation.
