A woman has been sentenced to two years probation for loading unauthorized wagering credits on club card accounts at a Dubuque casino where she worked. 23 year old Krysten Davis of Dubuque was sentenced in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one charge of third-degree theft. If she violates the terms of her probation, she will face two years in prison and an $855 fine. A report says that Davis was employed from Jan. 10 to Feb. 3 as a players’ club customer service representative at Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque. Her duties included helping patrons with their VIP club accounts. At the end of January, casino management discovered that wagering credits had been loaded onto unfamiliar, non-local players’ club card accounts. Davis admitted to police that she purposely added unauthorized credits on random player accounts throughout the month of January and printed out new cards with altered security pin numbers. Davis then provided the newly printed cards to people she knew.
