One Person Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash in Dubuque

A three vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Dubuque sent one person to the hospital. Dubuque police say the crash happened shortly after noon at the intersection of Elm Street and 16th Street.  Police say a vehicle driven by 66-year old Donna Kirby of Dubuque didn’t stop at a stop light and ran into another vehicle driven by 37-year old Latoya Hardia of Dubuque whose vehicle then collided with the third vehicle driven by 67-year old Charles Ernst of Bernard. Kirby was taken by ambulance to Unity Point-Finley Hospital for treatment of chest and head pain. Both of the other drivers were not injured. Kirby was also cited for failing to stop at a stop light.
