A Dubuque man was sentenced to 15 days in jail for his role in a large downtown fight. 22 year old Donometris Wynn Jr. received the sentence from District Court Judge Michael Shubatt in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. Wynn initially was charged with participation in a riot but received the lesser charge as part of a plea deal. As part of his sentence, he also will serve one year of probation. Reports say police were dispatched to the 1700 block of White Street around 8 p.m. September 1st for a report of multiple people fighting. Dispatch advised that the group had separated and one party had left by car. Traffic camera footage shows Wynn arrive at the location and get out of the vehicle holding a broom handle.
