The Evansville community continues to recover following tornadoes that ripped through the area late last week. Officials gave an update at the Evansville Fire Department Wednesday on recovery efforts. There’s been nearly $2.5 million dollars in damage across Rock County, according to Emergency Management Director Kevin Wernet. He described this as a difficult time as the community continues to recover. During a briefing Wednesday, Wernet said 30 homes were impacted. Two homes were completely destroyed while 10 others had major damage and 13 had minor damage.
