Local law enforcement on Thursday testified to the beginning stages of an investigation into the 2021 death of 20 year old Kylie Duster of Dubuque during the ongoing trial of 24 year old Romell Enoch, who is accused of killing her. Enoch is charged in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County with first-degree murder in relation to the death Duster. The trial continued Thursday with testimony from several members of local law enforcement, as well as the deputy state medical examiner. Police found Duster dead in her Dubuque apartment on July 28, 2021, in the closet of her bedroom. She had not been seen or heard from since July 25, 2021. Witnesses have testified that she was spotted with Enoch at multiple locations around town.
