Motorcycle Accident in Lafayette County

Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to County Highway F in Fayette Township Friday just after 3:30pm for a motorcycle accident. 17 year old Ephraim Fisher of Gratiot was traveling westbound on County Highway F maneuvering two horses pulling a wagon when 54 year old Patrick Boyle of Darlington attempted to pass on his Harley. Fisher attempted to turn into a drive at the same time Boyle was passing and Boyle struck near the horses, and laid the motorcycle down. Fisher was uninjured and Boyle reported minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to a hospital. The motorcycle was towed from the scene with severe damage.
