City of Dubuque offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. The closure includes City Hall and other city offices and facilities. There will be no curbside trash and recycling collection Thursday in Dubuque. Those collections will take place on Saturday, July 6. The Jule will not operate on Thursday, July 4, and the Intermodal Transportation Center will be closed. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on the holiday. The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed on the 4th of July.
