A free, annual event promoting crime prevention and neighborhood unity will be held next month in Dubuque. National Night Out will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at Comiskey Park. The event is held by the Dubuque Police Department and promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Community organizations also participate, including the Dubuque Fire Department. The event includes free food, games and other activities.
