A Delaware County man must pay a $200 fine for his involvement in a 2023 shots-fired incident. 32 year old Blake Muller of Delhi received the penalty in Iowa District Court of Delaware County after pleading guilty to a charge of reckless use of a firearm. According to a report, the charges were related to a July 29, 2023, incident in which Delaware County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a residence south of Manchester. There, they made contact with three men, two of whom were Muller and 57 year old Randall Less of rural Manchester. Neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots during an argument. Less was charged with assault causing injury, and his case is ongoing.
