Jon Turbett, a special agent with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, will deliver the Spring 2025 Michael Lester Wendt Character Lecture at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, in John and Alice Butler Hall at the University of Dubuque. The lecture, “Character Without Compartments,” is free and open to the public. Turbett has spent his entire law enforcement career as a special agent with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. The lecture is presented by UD’s Wendt Character Initiative. Guest lecturers in the fall and spring speak from lives of purpose, linking issues of the day to character virtues such as integrity, justice, and compassion.
