Ketchup Entertainment is set to acquire distribution rights for the Looney Tunes-inspired film Coyote vs. Acme, with a reported price tag in the $50 million range. The film, a live action-animation hybrid starring John Cena and Lana Condor, was originally shelved by Warner Bros. but is now expected to find a new home after the studio allowed the filmmaking team to shop the completed project to other distributors. This move comes after Warner Bros. previously shelved other projects, including Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt, as part of post-pandemic cost-cutting measures. Ketchup also recently released The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. (Variety)
