WASHINGTON — Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Thursday morning that President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts have been blocked indefinitely following the insurrection at the Capitol.
In a Facebook post, Zuckerberg said Trump “intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power to his elected successor, Joe Biden.”
Wednesday night, Twitter and Facebook both took action against the president’s social media posts filled with lies and disinformation.
