MONROE, Wis. — Monroe police arrested a woman Saturday after getting multiple reports that she was breaking windows at homes in the southwest part of the city.
When police got to the 2700 block of 8th Avenue around 2 a.m. they reportedly found a shirtless woman covered in blood. Upon further investigation, authorities determined the blood came from a cut in the woman’s hand.
According to a news release, the woman, 32-year-old Brittany Hanson, was intoxicated at the time.
Police said their investigation found several windows on Hanson’s mobile home had been smashed. A window on the porch of another person’s home was shattered, and several vehicles in the area had been ransacked with personal items thrown onto the ground.
Authorities determined Hanson was responsible and took her into custody. Once she was cleared at a local hospital she was arrested charged with three counts of criminal damage to property, one count of felony bail jumping due to a violation of court-ordered bail conditions, and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping. She was also taken into custody on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation violation.
She was booked into the Green County Jail.
