COLUMBUS, Ga. — The FBI said a man who reportedly shot at one of its agents in western Georgia last week may be in south-central Wisconsin.
The agency’s Milwaukee field office said it has reason to believe Joshuia Johnathon Luke Brown, 24, may be in the Johnson Creek area in Jefferson County. It was not immediately clear why the bureau believes Brown may be in Wisconsin.
Brown is accused of shooting multiple rounds at an FBI agent in Columbus, Georgia, on July 28. A federal arrest warrant was issued days later, and a $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
Brown is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 197 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.
The agency warned he should be considered armed and dangerous and is asking anyone with information to call the Atlanta Field Office at 770-216-3000 or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
