Cuba City School District leaders are working to provide an alternative placement campus in the community for students by the beginning of the upcoming school year. According to a report, district staff and school board members met Tuesday at Cuba City High School to discuss a site for the campus, which would be used for students who need programming outside of the traditional school setting. School officials said the move would allow students who need services currently not available locally to stay in the district. A proposed site for the alternative location is the vacant Full Gospel Assembly church building at the corner of West Dewey and South Madison streets, about five blocks away from the high school.
