One Person Killed in Dubuque County Crash

Authorities say one person was killed and four more were seriously injured Sunday night in a crash near Cascade.  A report says one person was pronounced dead at the scene. One person was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for treatment of serious injuries. Three more people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals with serious injuries. The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of U.S. Highway 151 and Gehl Lane. An Iowa State Patrol crash report states that one vehicle was southbound in the north bound lanes of U.S. Highway 151 and collided head-on with another vehicle. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
