One Vehicle Accident On Highway 20 In Dubuque

A one car accident Monday morning on Highway 20 near Menards slowed down the eastbound lanes of traffic for a about an hour while crews responded to the scene. Dubuque police say the crash happened around 7:30am when a vehicle driven by 22-year old Izabelle Thompson of Hennepin, Illinois went off the road and into a cable barrier. Thompson complained of pain to her back and side and was treated at the scene.  Her vehicle was totaled and several feet of cable were damaged.  Thompson was cited with failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
