On Friday, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Bridgeport on suspicion of impaired driving. The driver was 42-year-old Geramia Swadley of Soldiers Grove. The passengers were 27-year-old Jourdan Womack of Platteville, and her three-year-old child. After a search of the vehicle, Swadley was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after revocation, possession of THC, felony bail jumping, and an active warrant for his arrest. Womack was arrested on charges of child neglect, resisting arrest, and possession of methamphetamine. Crawford County Department of Health & Human Services personnel responded and took custody of the child. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Prairie du Chien Police Department, and Milo’s Towing Service.
