Expert on Criminology Coming To Dubuque

A nationally known criminologist and serial killer expert will appear later this year in Dubuque. Scott Bonn will appear on Sept. 14 at Five Flags Center. Bonn is a bestselling author, professor, public speaker and podcast host. He has interacted with such notorious serial killers as Dennis Rader (“Bind, Torture, Kill”) and David Berkowitz (“Son of Sam”). Bonn also developed a profile of the unknown “Long Island Serial Killer” in 2011 that matches the alleged perpetrator, Rex Heuermann. Bonn will discuss society’s curious fascination with serial killers and true crime. Bonn’s appearance is recommended for adults only due to the nature of the topic.
