Dubuque Community School District school bus drivers and attendants have approved a three-year contract after picketing for better wages, benefits and working conditions last month. School board members discussed the contract at a committee meeting Monday and are expected to approve it at their regular meeting next week. The contract includes an 83-cent hourly raise and a total salary and benefit package increase of 2.52%, in line with the increases received by the district’s other employee groups this year. Jeff Lippstock, a district bus driver and union steward for Teamsters Local 120, said union members voted last week to accept the contract.
