Jon Bernthal To Return In ‘Punisher’ Special For Marvel & Disney+

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, in an upcoming special for Marvel Television co-written and directed by Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green (King Richard, We Own This City). The special, described as being in the style of Werewolf By Night or The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, is scheduled to air in 2026 alongside Daredevil’s second season on Disney+. Bernthal originally portrayed the character in Netflix’s Daredevil and later starred in Netflix’s The Punisher from 2017 to 2019. Daredevil: Born Again, with stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returning, debuts March 4th on Disney+. (Source)
