Government Officials For Announced Fyre Festival 2 Location Say Event “Does Not Exist”

Billy McFarland has persistently claimed that “Fyre Festival 2 is real,” but officials on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres are stating otherwise. “We have no knowledge of this event, nor contact with any person or company about it,” tourism director Edgar Gasca said. “For us, this is an event that does not exist.” Organizers for Fyre Fest 2 have countered these claims, insisting they’ve “secured top-tier private venues and hotels in partnership with our local allies” and have “established communications with the corresponding authorities to ensure full compliance and flawless execution.” However, the festival has already changed dates, hasn’t announced any artists, and remains under the shadow of McFarland’s fraud conviction over the last event.
