An area organization that offers creative opportunities for adults with disabilities will host an appearance by a nationally known comedian this summer. Creative Expression Workshops is bringing Scott Long for a performance from 4 to 5 p.m. July 15 at The Grand Opera House, 135 W. Eighth St. Based in Indiana, Long has appeared on NBC, Fox and “The Bob and Tom Show.” He will be joined in Dubuque by his daughter, Maddie, who is on the autism spectrum.
